Check to see if your computer has wireless capabilities. Most new computers do. But if you don’t, it’s easy to get wireless compatibility with a wireless adapter. Not sure? On a Windows PC, go to the Start menu and click on Control Panel, then Network Connections. If there is a listing for a Wireless Network Connection, you’re all set. On a Mac, look for the Wireless icon in your Menu bar. |

Plug your Wireless Router into your cable or DSL modem. The modem may have been provided by your Internet provider, or you may have purchased one. It should reside between the connection coming out of your wall (COAX cable or phone line) and your computer. Just unplug it from your computer and plug it into the router instead.
